AN INTRODUCTION OF

 

DJS

 

(DARSGAH JIHAD-O-SHAHADATH)

 

Dear Brothers in Islam,

Assalam-u-alaikum

 Praise be to ALLAH by his grace DJS came in to being on Dec. 4 1983 in Hyderabad, India. To improve the religious atmosphere among Muslims in both ways, mentally and physically in the context of Islamic environment towards conducting, practicing and achieving in India, the activities like: 

       1.       Establishing and performing the Islamic obligations, orders & prayers.

 2.       Defending themselves.

 3.       Protecting the life and properties of Muslim community.

 4.       Protecting and preserving the honour and chastity of women.

       5.       Protecting the sanctity of The glorious Quran, Mosques and Sharia.

       6.       Creating and sustaining the honest and puritanic society.

 7.       Paving the way for peaceful Islamic reformation.

 8.       And ultimately supremacy of ISLAM.

       DJS activities is to follow the Quran and the acts of our beloved prophet "Mohammed" peace be upon him, to create the atmosphere of peaceful welfare in the social life of India.

 By the grace of Almighty ALLAH the DJS is continuing in its efforts towards addressing the various problems, issues and are confronting the challenges faced in the fulfillment of its organization’s purposes, aims and goals, despite many obstacles, ups, downs, twist and turns, hostile attitude from some of our own quarters, uncalled for and unjustified interference by law and order authorities. Nevertheless during this struggle there has always been encouragement and enthusiasm shown by the ever growing number of Muslim brothers coming forward to join the organization and aligning themselves with the cause to support and strengthen the DJS by all means within their reach which includes the financial assistance by some of the well wishers and kind hearted persons.

 Praise be to ALLAH, the organization is growing and expanding all its intents and purposes and carrying on with patience its activities in a peaceful manner.

DJS is an independent organization; it has no affiliation with any other political, religious, or cultural group or organization. But for the welfare and prosperity of the Muslim community, the DJS has its own strategy to work together with any other group or organization. The DJS trained (except members) has right to join any Muslim group or organization, as a result they are serving all the Muslim groups and organizations.

 THE MAIN ACTIVITIES 

     1-  Apart from establishing many training centers in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secundrabad, including few districts of Andhra Pradesh, this process inshallah shall continue in future throughout India till the desired level of organizational structure results.

     2- For the last 21 years the DJS has trained and are training thousands of Muslim youths to defend themselves and to help, protect and defend the other Muslims brethren in various training center’s of DJS.

     3- From the last 10 years the organization is conducting short term courses in self defense for Muslim girls and women, of course paying due regards to adhering to and in full conformity with Islamic properties and values like strict observance of veil (Hijab), segregation etc., during the course in the city of Hyderabad.

     4- Conducting camps for special training of selected Muslim youths twice in a year in suburban or outlying areas.

     5- DJS has its own printed constitution comprising of aims, objectives, policies, programme, procedures, methodology towards implementation and interpretation of the constitutional elements. Over and above a library exist containing various books written by the founder and chief of DJS Mr. “Shaikh Mahboob Ali” highlighting of Jihad (Holy War) and its application in the present circumstances.

      6- The underlying philosophy of DJS on a tactical basis is to be prepared for self-defense, and dependents and Muslim community as a whole. Whereas the long term goal of the DJS remains to achieve the supremacy and prevalence of Islam in practice in its entirety.

 

DJS OTHER ACTIVITIES

 Apart from the above mentioned activities the DJS has some more and permanent sections out of which the following are the important: 

 

Educational Section:

DJS is also managing its students library, containing books on Islamic religion and other disciplines like, Engineering, Medicine, Computer Sciences, Business and Law up to degree level as well as pre-university courses. Large number of DJS members, trainees and other Muslim brothers are gaining with this library. 

 

Reformation Section:

In this department the DJS members applying their abilities to prevent the social evils and then implementing the good manners among all the communities and especially in Muslims. 

 

Legal Aid Section:

A group of qualified and experienced advocates in coordination with “Saifullah Khaled” Advocate (Member DJS Advisory Board) serving the accused Muslims who have been arrested illegally during their activities in the causes of Muslims.

 

Publication Sections:

Publishing books specially on the subject of Jihad (Holy War) written by different scholars including DJS chief.

 

REASONS FOR ESTABLISMENT 

The picture of the Indian secularism became clear by the study of Islamic and secular way of life; they are different and oppose each other.

In the present context the concept of Indian secularism has lost it’s meaning as enshrined in the constitution of India. The constitutional rights of minorities have been and fraudulently been tampled and violated by the Hindu fundamentalist, as well as by the Indian government as is evident from the happenings throughout India.

Since the independence of India i.e. from last 55 years to this day there is no let of in the bloodshed of Muslims. Which is nothing but a genocide, as a result of deep and hinous conspiracy among the enemies of Islam against Islam in general and Indian Muslims in particular. There is lot of propaganda, misinformation, compaign going on to alter the Sharia (Islamic jurisprudence) apart from encouraging, sacrilege of mosques, seizing the mosque for temples (Place of Hindu worship), obstruction and prevention of freedom of speech, etc. The sole purpose of all these act to try to wipeout Islam and Muslims from India. 

Islam is the only complete and comprehensive way of life (a code of conduct) for all human beings at all times and at all places, to fulfill the purposes of life here in all walks of life like, rituals, manners, characters, politics, economics and individuals as well as social life and be accountable to all deeds committed on the day of reckoning. Islam has the solutions even for of all those problems, in which the Indian Muslims are suffering. 

"Fighting is prescribed upon you, and you dislike it. But it is possible that you dislike a thing, which is good for you, And that you love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows and you know not."    (QURAN : Al-Baqra-216) 

"To those against whom War is made, permission is given (to fight). Because they are wronged. And verily Allah is most powerful for their aid"  (QURAN : Al-Hajj-39)

 "Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, and disgrace them, help you (to victory) over them. Heal the breasts of believers."        (QURAN : Al-Tauba-14) 

There is no difference between Jihad (Holy War) and other Islamic obligations like Prayer (Salath), Fasting, charity (Zakath), and Hajj in regarding their meaning, compulsion and degree. Every obligation has its own benefits.

But Jihad is an obligation where fulfillment confers the benefit entails protection the life and properties of Muslim community, Protection and preserve the honour and chastity of women, Protection the sanctity of The glorious Quran, Mosques and Sharia, (Islamic Jurisprudence), Creation and sustaining the honest and puritanic society, the attainment of power, conquest and dominance of Islam as a religion.

But the sad crude fact is that the enemies of Islam i.e. Christians and Jewish etc. have left no stone unturned in spreading the malicious and distorted views on Jihad, here by tarnishing the concept of Jihad in Islam. As a result there had emerged some serious problems because of this misinformation and because of prevailing confusion in the minds of Muslims in light of conflicting and collision path adopted, working at cross purposes by some of our own so called community, religious, sociopolitical leaders ultimately the Muslims are unjustifiably victimized.

 AIMS NEEDS & COOPERATION 

DJS main aim is to expand its activities throughout India. There is lot still to be done towards appraisal training for self-defense especially to the Muslim youths. In this direction we urge all Muslim brothers to recognize the necessities of DJS training and other programs and give them wholehearted cooperation, and participate to utilize your abilities and energies in just cause of Islam, towards which this humble organization has embarked upon. 

We believe the Aims and Needs which Almighty Allah likes will be fulfilled and if Allah likes keeps it stops and postpone, as Almighty Allah hold every thing (Divine) in his hand. But we shall strive for our efforts.
